The Water Damage In Your ClosetBy Aydan Corkern If your closet is near the bathroom and there is a leak anywhere in there, water damage will set in and cause lots of things. Water damage in closets are very common and the wall between them can rot and cause mold to grow and spread. All closets have carpet in them and they will get soaked with water and it will ruin the carpet by staining it, mold growth on it, and make it fall apart. When mold gets on it, it eats the carpet from the bottom up and it will be messy, it will also have a smell coming from it. The odor can cruel up your nose and it can make your eyes burn because the smell is so nasty. You will have to remove the carpet and get it out of your house so it doesn't harm your family, it will release toxins in the air that you breathe, which will get into your lungs and give you breathing problems. Your walls will have brown stains on them if the damage is not to bad, nut if the damage is really bad there will be black stains all over the bottom of the walls, in the cracks between the wood or the wall paper, and in the corners of the walls. It just won't be on the outside of the walls, it also will be in the walls as all and that is not good for your family to be around. The walls will start to fall apart in time if you don't get it token care of right away and the mold will spread through out the room that it is in or spread through out the house and make your house un-sanitized which can make your family sick. You can even catch a disease for it that can attack your nerves, organs, cells, and other things. The mold will get on your pipes and it will start to decay them as time goes by, it can get in the pipes and in the water that you drink from, cook with, and take a bath in so watch out of that. It will make the little pieces of wood pop out because the wall is rotting, when you know you have a problem on your hands. The wall paper will start to peel up or off and you will have it all over your floors. Spraying the air will not help take away the odor because it keeps on coming back until you fix it. When you peel up the floor or the wall paper, you will see the mold and it is nasty fungus everywhere that you can see.
