How A Dishwasher Can Cause Water DamageBy Aydan Corkern If you have a dishwasher in your house, you have to keep an eye on it because it can leak through the door or under it from the water pipes. When it leaks, the water will get in the cracks between the sides of it or all over the floor. It will cause water damage and that will cause a lot more things to happen. When the floor gets exposed with so much water, it will start to get weak more and more as time goes by. Then it will begin to rot the wood causing it to bow, and it will get worse if it is not fixed right away. As it bows your counters, sink, and the drawers, they will start to lean downward and it will look like it is going to collapse. Mold will set in and grow on the wood, pipes, and on the stuff that is in the counters. There will be a lot of moisture under there and the moisture will get on everything it will come in contact with, which can be your pots and pans, silverware, food, the water pipes, and the walls. The mold will spread and the bacteria will get in the air that you and your family breathe, which will cause problems with your and their health. There will be an odor in the air that smells like a musty moldy smell that can crawl into your nose and can make your eyes water and cause allergies. The allergy symptoms that you can experience are watery eyes, a runny nose, sneezing, itching, hives, and maybe even hay fever. The problems that you can get are shortness of breath, problem with your lungs, nerves, and many other things that you don't want to get. The mold will release toxins that are dangerous for you to breathe and sometimes you won't know it and you have to get the air in your home checked out. Even if you do not think that you have toxins in your home, you will want to get it checked out just in case you may have it. You have to protect your family and do what is good for them because it can save their lives. You don't want anything to happen to them because they are the most important people in your life so keep them safe from harmful thing like these. Get your house checked one or twice a year to keep your house safe.
